Grammarly Generative AI Pilot

The project aims at integrating generative AI into higher education by helping educators use AI tools effectively in teaching and learning.

The pilot tested and refined a practical, easy-to-adopt AI GUIDE that enhance student learning and streamline teaching workflows. While Grammarly was the focus, the GUIDE’s resources are adaptable to other AI tools, ensuring broad accessibility.

The project emphasizes thoughtful and ethical AI adoption, providing a roadmap for institutions to integrate AI responsibly while preparing students and educators for the future.

Activity : Create a Cover Letter
Description

This activity aims to guide students in crafting a compelling and tailored cover letter for job applications. Students will articulate their unique value proposition and position themselves as a strong candidate for the position they are seeking. In this activity, we will evaluate Grammarly gen AT’s ability to support the cover letter writing process.

Instruction

1. Prepare an original passage that includes introductory information about yourself, your interest in the position/company, your value proposition for the role, and the job description or select an original piece of writing you have already created.

2. Input (insert or paste) the passage into the gen AI bot.

3. Prompt the gen AI bot to “Use this information to create a professional and compelling cover letter for [position title] role.”
